uw videotaped by eric today... it's obvious what's wrong with my stroke - whether that's entirely the cause of the shoulder pain, i'm not yet convinced. my elbow is seriously dropped during the pull, and i've got a crossover reach. also he teaches t.i. style entry, not a fully extended reach above the water.

the changes to the stroke make sense:
- entry point at the forearm of the other arm; drill entry point as catchup, no real pull, use fins to kick.
- fist drill
- paint either side of the blue line - entry points at 10:30 and 1:30
- slice into the water at an angle, straight, don't scoop up. angle is toward the opposite bottom corner of the pool
- let the arm bend as it passes under
- elbow always higher than hand
